It's interesting that you asked this question, because i've been contemplating it recently. I have a friend who claims that he's very much in love with this one girl (he's 19, by the way: yes, a teenager), but he really wants to go to California ASAP to try for Hollywood (obviously, he's an actor). First, all of us (me, him and this girl) live in Ohio. Second, he isn't dating her, and right now, he won't ask her out. I didn't say this to him, but if he wants to go to the other side of the country so very much, then he doesn't love her, because love would keep him here.

But i have been thinking about what love is (especially since this friend of mine seems to be showing interest in *me*, as basically anyone who knows us could tell you :p), and i haven't figured it out yet. :p I'm looking forward to seeing the replies though.

LOL...I know what love is, yet it's hard to answer. Because I don't know what aspect to cover, I suppose.

To me, love is unconditional. It can be troubling, but is worth it.

scientists have "proven" it to be oxytocin, mixed every now and then with horny pheremones.
I don't buy it.
It's a lifestyle, a constant state of mind, a warm stream of conciousness in the cold business fueled actions of today.
Love is an art...
(can you tell than I'm a romantic of the hopeless variety? hahahaha. . .*sigh*)
